LAINVESTORS is a privately held real estate investment company founded on value investing philosophies in niche Los Angeles multi-family markets. LAI typically targets underperforming assets with an attractive basis and potential for outsized upside in the lower mid and upper south-east regions of the Los Angeles basin.

INVESTORS

LAI partners with friends & family, high net worth individual and family office investors who share the company's passive income centric investment philosophies. The investments typically start off as single transaction investments and often snowball into larger portfolio through recapitalization derived from both capital appreciation and additional capital contribution.

STRATEGY

LAI typically seek opportunities that requires significant renovations and hands-on management to realize the assets’ full potential. Though our team constantly monitor changing market metric to identify a rare opportunistic time to exit, our core strategy revolves around long term hold and consistent passive income distribution to our investors.

LEADERSHIP

Alazar oversees all aspects of LAI investment strategies and is principally responsible for instilling company’s long-term value creation and cashflow centric investment philosophy. Through a short term opportunistic fund platform, Alazar has taken 18 investments in distressed and value add strategies from acquisition through exit. Prior to founding LAI, Alazar co-founded and ran a Los Angeles based commercial real estate brokerage firm, A-Squared Property Inc. As a managing director, his role was to facilitate transactions of commercial properties. Since the company’s inception in 2005, as of December 2015, Alazar and his team has completed over $200M in transactions of multifamily, office and retail properties. Alazar started his career in commercial real-estate at Grubb & Ellis Company and was a lead associate of the Multi-Housing Team (“MHT”); a team specializing in representing institutional and high net-worth individual clients buy and sell multifamily properties. Alazar received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate and Real Estate Finance from California State University Long Beach, completed UCLA’s Investment and Real Estate finance extension program and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California.
